Generally, the production process of aluminum plate is divided into hot rolling and cold rolling. Usually the thickness of the hot-rolled slab is 6-8mm, and the minimum thickness after hot-rolling is 2.5mm-3.0mm. Due to the large temperature drop of the rolled piece during the hot rolling process, it is difficult to continue the hot rolling to a thinner thickness, while the cold rolling can easily make the rolled piece continue to become thinner. Compared with hot rolling, the main feature of cold rolling is that it can obtain thinner plate and strip. Usually, the cold rolling mill can roll to 0.5-4.5mm. Compared with hot rolling, the main characteristics of cold rolling are that cold rolling can roll out products with precise dimensions, uniform thickness, good flatness and surface gloss, good product structure and high surface quality. According to the chemical composition, aluminum plates can be divided into pure aluminum plates and aluminum alloy plates. The pure aluminum plate only refers to the aluminum plate of the 1 series grade, and the 2 series to the 7 series are all aluminum alloy plates. In addition to the aluminum plates with flat surface, there are also aluminum plates with surface textures such as embossed aluminum plates and checkered aluminum plates.
